Pay Per Click (PPC) is the fastest growing advertising on the planet. Pay Per Click allows you to advertise your business on major search engines, and you decide which keywords should trigger your adverts. The basic concept is simple - the highest bidder on each keyword is shown top and so forth. When an advert is clicked, you pay your bid price.

The actual reality of advertising via PPC is more complex. The more generic a keyword, eg 'widget' is more generic than 'blue widget', the more potential traffic. The more potential traffic, the more it can cost - often the highest bids are seen on the generic keywords. This gives an opportunity to pick keywords carefully and deliver targeted, high value traffic. Often, the less generic the search term, the more likely a click is to result in a sale or contact.

PPC Outsourcing

The complex nature of a successful campaign means it is often less expensive to pay the experts to implement and manage the campaign. At Yorganic we have experience in PPC Management within some very competitive environments. At the end of each month a detailed report is supplied to the client along with a forecast for the next month and suggestions to improve the campaign.

The two major players in the PPC market are Overture (owned by Yahoo!) and Google Adwords. Overture covers Yahoo!, MSN and more, while Google covers AOL as well. The two engines cover 95% of the UK market, so we recommend starting with them and looking at the many other options if more traffic is required.

Pay per click Costs

Costs vary depending on the size of campaign and the amount of competition in the market. We can offer the following payment models:

  • Managed campaign - Yorganic charges a fixed monthly fee which includes the management and reporting on a campaign. Client supplies the pay per click charges.
  • Pay As You Go - Yorganic takes a percentage of each payment - and the rest goes on click charges
  • Test Campaign - Yorganic has done some small scale trial campaigns to allow clients to test the water before commiting to a plan. These will take the form of a single payment to cover an agreed budget and setup and management charges.
